Chhaava is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, and Diana Penty as Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, among others.
