Third-placed reigning champions Sheffield face Coventry Blaze on Saturday before coming up against bottom club Fife on Sunday afternoon.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: Last year’s New Zealand Warriors captain Tohu Harris has been forced into retirement by a persistent wrist injury after twelve seasons and 234 games in Australia’s National Rugby League.

MEN’S RUGBY UNION: Glasgow Warriors kick-off the latest round of European action when they face Racing 92 in a Champions Cup fixture tomorrow evening.

Both teams were knocked out in last season’s round of sixteen but have already lost one of their opening two games, although Glasgow have picked up three more bonus points than the French club.

Gloucester take on the Scarlets in tonight’s only Challenge Cup tie.
