Dorset Police received a report at 5.16pm on Thursday 17 October 2024 that an unknown object had been located outside Weymouth police station in Radipole Lane. As is usual in such circumstances, in the interests of safety whilst an assessment is made a cordon has been put in place and a building has been evacuated as a precaution.
