Tiverton Library decked the halls this past Saturday with its Christmas Craft Fair. From 10 am to noon, attendees enjoyed free entry to a festive haven of crafts, books, and holiday treats. Amazing choir and brilliant craft stalls—it’s a brilliant community event."She said the event highlighted the importance of libraries adding: "I think it's really important that libraries showcase what they do at events like this. It's something that Tiverton has shown we do incredibly well. The heart of libraries is all about community."The Christmas Craft Fair was not only a celebration of the season but also a reminder of the library's ongoing commitment to innovation and outreach. Kate gave a glimpse into future plans: "Looking forward to 2025, we've got some bids in at the moment for something around climate, and we're also looking at our new summer book quest, which will be an exciting spin on a regular summer event."Visitors also had the chance to win a festive hamper, courtesy of the Friends of Tiverton Library raffle, raising funds to support the library’s various initiatives.
