An oil tanker and a cargo vessel have collided in the North Sea off the coast of East Yorkshire, the Coastguard has said. A Coastguard rescue helicopter, lifeboats, a fixed wing aircraft and nearby vessels with firefighting capability are on the scene in the Humber Estuary after the alarm was raised shortly before 10am this morning (Monday, March 10). The oil tanker involved in the crash is on fire, two sources have told the BBC.
