POLICE are appealing for sightings of a missing man from Carlisle- as they ask to hear from friends or family who may know of his whereabouts. Desmond Cape, 59, was last seen shortly before 4pm on March, 3 in the Newtown Road area. Mr Cape has short hair, is of large build and walks with a slight stoop. He was last seen wearing blue fleece joggers, blue and grey trainer and was carrying a red carrier bag. Officers have asked for anyone with information or any potential sightings to be reported to police. Police would also like to hear from relatives or friends of Mr Cape. If anyone sees Mr Cape or knows where he might be, they are asked to contact police on 101.
