After an indulgent December and boozy New Year’s, this is one of the most common resolutions that people choose, and for good reason. By the end of a year, you start to let yourself off and allow cosier nights because of the weather, and I don’t blame you. However, creating a new health habit is one of the most beneficial things that you can do. Even the basics such as drinking 8 glasses of water a day or improving your sleep will make a significant difference to your wellbeing. A popular activity is the Couch to 5K programme, a 9-week running app by the NHS. You can do this outside or on a running machine, and it is a fantastic way to get more active, whatever the age.
