The State of Alabama has put Demetrius Terrence Frazier to death for the 1991 murder of 41-year-old Pauline Brown, using the highly controversial nitrogen gas method, which involves strapping a respirator mask to the inmate’s face and replacing oxygen with pure nitrogen.
