Vessel suffered ruptured cargo tank, with jet fuel reportedly released

The crew of an oil tanker are “safe and accounted for” with one person taken to hospital after it collided with a cargo ship in the North Sea, with jet fuel reported to have been released, a maritime company has said.

Crowley, which manages the MV Stena Immaculate, said there were “multiple explosions onboard” when the vessel suffered a ruptured cargo tank.
