Deb Frecklington says sentences, including one for a man who wrapped a rope around a woman’s neck and forced her into a car, ‘fail to meet community expectations’
Queensland’s attorney general has ordered state prosecutors to appeal against two sentences for crimes which she says are “manifestly inadequate”.
Deb Frecklington, also Queensland’s minister for justice and for integrity, said the two sentences “in my view, fail to meet community expectations”.
