John Tinniswood, born in Liverpool in 1912 and the oldest surviving male WW2 veteran, died ‘surrounded by music and love’

The world’s oldest known man has died at the age of 112.

John Tinniswood was born in Liverpool on 26 August 1912 and was verified as the world’s oldest living man in April.
