Jake Wray from Middlesbrough gets 38 months after racist chants and pushing flaming wheelie bin into police

An “overtly racist” man who stopped motorists to check they were white during the UK summer riots has been jailed for 38 months.

Jake Wray, 23, from Middlesbrough, admitted violent disorder in the town on 4 August, including trying to set a car on fire, racist chanting and pushing a flaming wheelie bin into police lines.
