Archie York died in blast at residential properties, which also killed Jason Laws, believed to be in his 30s

A family member has paid tribute to a “beautiful, funny and caring” seven-year-old boy who was killed in an explosion at a property in Newcastle.

The boy has been widely named locally as Archie York.
