The NWSL club Gotham FC are in advanced talks with Manchester United over the proposed loan signing of the Brazil forward Geyse. The Women’s Super League club are hoping to conclude a deal in coming days before the start of the new NWSL season on 14 March.

On Sunday Geyse described feeling “lonely” and being in agony after coming on as a late substitute in Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Leicester, in a post on social media.
