Ontario Premier Doug Ford appeared on CNN's Erin Burnett OutFront on Tuesday night. He struck a more conciliatory tone about Canada-U.S. relations in the wake of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's threat to impose a 25 per cent tariff on goods from Canada going to the U.S., saying he wants to work with the American government to resolve issues.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford embarked on a marathon of interviews with U.S. media earlier this week to promote the importance of trade between Canada and its southern neighbour in the hopes it may convince Donald Trump to back off his tariff threats.
