Halifax traffic is more congested than before the pandemic — and things could get worse

For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, traffic congestion in Halifax has returned to and surpassed pre-pandemic levels. Congestion has also shifted more to the middle of the workweek. Population growth and a shift back to office work could be reasons for this.
