Firefighters and the hazardous material unit were called to Ecole Felix-Ricard around 11:30 a.m. after a chemical smell was detected at the school in Sudbury, Ont. on Wednesday November 27, 2024. Students and staff were evacuated off site while the fire department aired out the school. No injuries were reported.
