@MedicineHatNews Power was knocked out about 1,600 residences and businesses in the River Flats and N. Railway Street for more than an hour on Wednesday afternoon when a vehicle collided with a power pole. City utility officials said the collision occurred shortly after 2 p.m., and all but five customers were reconnected by 3:30 p.m.
