Troops of the Nigerian Army have reportedly rescued 57 abducted victims from terrorists in Sambisa Forest, Bama Local Government Area of Borno. According to security analyst and counter-insurgency expert on the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, the operation was conducted by troops of Operation Lake Sanity III and Operation Hadin Kai. It was reported that the troops killed six of the terrorists during a patrol of the hideouts of Boko Haram insurgents.
