This minute, there's a call-out. The next, fans begin a smear campaign against the opposing camp. And it goes on and on.
Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has spared his fans the trouble of yet another beef with a colleague this time around.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, the controversial music superstar made a shoutout to whom many believe is his day one gee.
The 'Dance (Kese)' crooner mentioned YBNL honcho, Olamide Adedeji, better known simply as Olamide or Baddo, and noted his love for the influential Nigerian music figure.
"Love baddo! 4L ting," he wrote.
To acknowledge the shoutout, Olamide quoted the post and also returned the love.
"Eleniyan ! Love always brother," Baddo wrote.
Reacting to the exchange, fans camped in the replies section to express how the bromance made them feel.

The duo were starry-eyed artists with a hunger for success at the time.
"I love this wizkid-baddo bromance. Perfect example that two friends can be successful with no hate amongst themselves," wrote another user who was impressed by the friendship in spite of the level of success they've both achieved.
A fan who believes that the relationship should translate into more features initiated from Wizkid wrote, "Love the bromance, but he should reciprocate, 4 features from Omo to shan to Kana isn't a joke. For life ting no be lie, but it's one-sided."
