Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, could be without up to 11 players for their huge Europa League clash trip to Real Sociedad on Thursday night.

Amorim is currently dealing with an injury crisis within his squad.

With the exit from the FA Cup in the hands of Fulham last Sunday, Europa represents the only chance of silverware for the Red Devils.

United were already without nine players ahead of the Fulham clash, with Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez, Toby Collyer, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount and Amad Diallo all still missing.

Now they could have potentially two more abences after defender Harry Maguire was forced off during the fifth-round defeat.

Maguire remains a doubt for the game, with Amorim waiting on reports from the medical department.

Meanwhile, Chido Obi-Martin, the 17-year-old striker who impressed when he came on against Marco Silva’s side on the weekend, will be unavailable as he was not registered for the Europa League.
