Cossy Ojiakor, the Nigerian actress and singer, says she is introducing a paid chat service, where fans can chat with her for a fee of N100,000.
The 40-year-old Anambra-born film star took to her Instagram
page on Monday to share a video showcasing her half-naked body while dancing
seductively.
In the accompanying caption, the actress wrote, “Hey, chat
fee is N100k only”. This led to speculation that Cossy may offer her fans
exclusive content or services.
The film star is known for her bold and unapologetic style, often sharing racy photos and videos of herself on social media.
She started as a singer and video vixen, rising to
prominence in the early 2000s. Her appearance in music videos, including one
produced by Nigerian singer Obesere, helped establish her as a household name.
However, Cossy’s career has not been without controversy. In
2002, she faced widespread backlash after a publisher shared footage appearing
to show her engaging in sex acts with a dog.
She dismissed the claim, arguing that the video was a scene
from the 2002 movie ‘Itohan,’ which highlighted the plight of Nigerians
trafficked as sex slaves. She demanded justice, urging the police to
investigate the publisher.
Despite the controversy, Cossy has continued to build a
career in the entertainment industry. She released her album ‘Nutty Queen’ in
2013 and produced her first film ‘Power Girls’ in 2015.
In recent years, Cossy has been open about her personal
life, including her relationships. In 2020, she announced her engagement to
Abel Jürgen Wilhem, her Nigerian-German boyfriend.
Months later, Abel called off the engagement on the grounds
of domestic violence.
