The military’s joint task force in the north-east has prohibited the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly referred to as drones, across the region.

A directive on Wednesday by UU Idris, the air component commander of Operation Hadin Kai, said operating drones without prior approval poses security risks.
