Peter ‘Mr P’ Okoye, has dismissed a song theft claim by his twin brother Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye.

Mr P recently released the single ‘Winning’ —  a few months after the brothers confirmed that Psquare, their shared music group, no longer exists.

But on Friday, Rudeboy claimed that the song was his, arguing that it was supposed to feature in his forthcoming album. He also alleged the producer hijacked the track.

Reacting to the allegations, Mr. P shared videos of his conversation with producer Vampire, who confirmed that he had commissioned him to work on ‘Winning’ in Lagos.

He revealed that Ogbogu ‘Calypso’ Chijioke was the original composer and that he also contributed to the song. He said the song was part of the tracks in the album Psquare was supposed to release.

Mr P alleged that his twin brother has been “trying to tarnish my image” since their split. “Enough of the negativity,” he also declared, emphasising his desire to focus on his music and business without drama.

“The world needs to know the truth. Every time he is always trying to tarnish my name,” he said in the Instagram video.

“Maybe because I was not posting anything music related on my social media page for over 4 months. He believes I have lost interest in music. I took a breather to get my mind and head in the right space and when that was done, my epiphany was WINNING!

“My prayer is that we all win, I want it for us all, I am in a good place mentally and creatively now, allow me enjoy and celebrate my wins big and small. I celebrate you and yours too!

“Enough of the negativity! All want to do is release my music, conduct my business and live my life in peace…not every time drama.”
