Nigeria's Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, has deployed a contingent of soldiers to the troubled Augie Local Government Area in Kebbi State, following attacks by a new terrorist group known as Lakurawa. The group recently attacked Mera village, killing at least 17 people.
