Amb. Bankole Adeoye has been re-elected as Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security at the African Union Commission. He defeated Central African Republic’s Jean Jacques Demafouth. Adeoye was re-elected for another four-year term at the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive council in Addis Ababa on Tuesday
