The death toll from Lassa fever in Nigeria has risen to 53 according to the latest situation report of the disease obtained from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday. The situation report also noted that the NCDC is currently conducting contact tracing for about 191 patients who are suspected of having the disease
