The Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmad Aliyu, has approved free registration for indigent students seeking admission into tertiary institutions through the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry. The state Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Isa Maishanu, announced this in a statement on Friday, noting that the initiative aligns with the governor’s nine-point agenda.
