Yoruba monarchs have been urged to embrace the Oro deity as a weapon for the assertion of territorial and social control within their domains. The President, International Council for Ifa Religion, Dr Fayemi Fakayode, made this declaration at a programme in commemoration of the 2024 World Oro Festival, held at the Aseyin palace, Iseyin, Oyo
