Nwaeke had in the interview claimed Fubara held meeting with militants to blow up oil pipelines in the state before he was suspended by President Bola Tinubu. He also accused the Fubara of planning to support Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed in the 2027 presidential election. but the suspended Rivers State governor said Nwaeke has been compromised and his allegations should be ignored.
According to him, whatever the former HOS is saying is only aimed at fulfilling his promise to those who may have paid or coerced him to lie against him.
