The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC had shut the markets and other open drug markets across the country to carry out raids on producers of fake, adulterated medicines. But Obi faults total closure of the Onitsha Bridge market as he noted that sections of the market not involved in counterfeiting of drugs were also affected. He said there was no justification for shutting down of such markets.
