Catherine Anene, the spokesperson for the Benue Police Command confirmed the tragic incident in a statement. According to the statement, she issued on Thursday in Makurdi, Anene said the truck rammed into a residential compound in Okete community, Otukpo in Otukpo LGA of the state very early in the morning, killing nine people.
