Speaking during his visit to Zulum, Marwa said as a concerned Nigerian and former military governor of the old Borno , he was moved by the magnitude of the flood disaster. This, he said, had affected the lives, livelihood and property of the people as well as the environment. The NDLEA boss said he had contacted a fertilizer company he knew for support and they had donated high yield fertilizers equivalent of ten trailer loads worth N120 million to the state government.
