The police in Ekiti State have arraigned three persons, Agbadaola Seun (43), Ojurongbe Daramola (40), and Adedara Sunday (70) at the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti for allegedly threatening High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi of Ilawe-Ekiti.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the incident occurred on March 15 when the defendants conspired to commit the act.
He said the offence was punishable under Section 421, 69(a), 181(1)(d), of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State 2021.
Counsel to the defendants, Barrister Olumide Olowolafe, urged the court to grant his client bail, the request Chief Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun granted in the sum of N100,000 with one surety each and adjourned the case till May 9, for hearing.
