The Lakurawa group on Tuesday killed two Customs officers and a local at Bachaka border in Argungu Local Government Area of Kebbi state.

The latest attack came barely 24 hours after combined security forces neutralised two Lakurawa members in the area.

Confirming the attack to our correspondent, the Kebbi State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Nafiu Abubakar, said while the identities of the slain Customs officers remained unknown, the attack resulted in the deaths of three people.

“Yes there was an attack and it resulted in the killing of two yet-to-be identified Customs officers and one resident of Bachaka”, he said.
