The commissioner made this known during a press briefing in commemoration of World Tuberculosis (TB) Day 2025 held in Kano.
He said though Nigeria is ranked 6th among the 30 high TB burden countries and 1st in Africa, Kano being the most populous state in Nigeria is one of the six high TB burden states.
