The Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) PLC has recorded improved financial performance with a 74.8% increase in revenue for the period ending December 2024.

The growth, according to the company, reflects “The company’s commitment to operational excellence, enhanced service delivery, and solidified partnerships with key industry players.”

This is just as the company donated several medical facilities to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Daily Trust reports that the one year performance of the company coincides with one year in office of the Managing Director/CEO, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin.

The rise in revenue was buoyed by multiple contracts in the previous year, which saw the cargo handling company working for several airlines.

On the donation to NDLEA, SAHCO said the donation was part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to its immediate environment.

Some of the medical facilities donated to the MMIA Command by SAHCO included incubator, centrifuge machine, sphygmomanometer, weighing scale, poison box, lipid profile, meter, staining rack and ambu bags.

Executive Director, Cargo Services, SAHCO, Mrs. Boma Ukwunna, who represented Aboderin decried the problem of drug abuse in the society.

Ukwunna explained that the items donated would assist the command in attending to suspects quickly, its staff and other stakeholders in the industry.

She lauded the NDLEA for its efforts to checkmate the influx of drugs with the arrest of several suspects which has reduced the rate of drug trafficking in the country.

Responding, the Strategic Commander, NDLEA MMIA Command, Mr. Usman Wadar, expressed delight with the donation by SAHCO.

Wadar maintained that the medical items would go a long way in improving its performance and enhancing its relevance.
