The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, has paid a condolence visit to the renowned Islamic cleric, Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir at his residence in Jos, Plateau State, over the demise of his brother, Alhaji Ashiru Yahaya Jingir.
During the visit, Dare conveyed President Tinubu’s condolences to Sheikh Jingir and his family, describing the late Ashiru Yahaya Jingir as a man of peace and unity, whose legacy will continue to inspire many.
He also expressed gratitude to Sheikh Jingir for his unwavering support of the Tinubu administration, acknowledging the cleric’s influential role in fostering harmony and development in Nigeria.
“Sheikh Jingir is a leader who has the backing of his people, and his contributions to the peace and progress of our nation are invaluable,” Dare was quoted as saying in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja.
