The FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, says the chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Mr Christopher Maikalangu, has capacity and deserves support for more development within the city center.
Speaking on Saturday in Abuja at the commissioning of the 5-kilometer Saburi road project, Wike said that Maikalangu had been committed and assured him of his support for more development.
According to Wike, it is not all chairmen that can stand before their people and say I have done this without objection from the crowd.
He gave assurance of continued support, pledging new projects to enhance connectivity and livelihoods across AMAC wards. (NAN)
Wike commended Maikalangu’s leadership and promised swift action on additional infrastructure projects, including the Dei-Dei access road.
Maikalangu, who earlier lauded Wike for commissioning the road project, said that the road had boosted business and economic activities in Gwagwa Ward.(NAN)
