The newly launched Anambra State Agụnechemba (popularly known as Operation Udo Ga-Achi) has uncovered 30 graves in a popular hotel in the state.

The security operatives made the discovery at the weekend.

The hotel located in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, is adjudged to be one of the most popular and happening hotels in the area.

Though details of the incident are still sketchy, a trending video from the scene of the incident indicated that many exhibits were recovered from the facility, while some well-partitioned graves of human beings were discovered on the last floor of the hotel.

The state Police Public Relations officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, said the police have not been briefed about the discovery.

“ I don’t have any brief on this, please,” he said.
