External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Monday that conferment of Nigerias national award Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger on Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a recognition of PM Modis leadership in furthering partnerships with the Global South and also underlines the special ties between India and Nigeria.
