The colours, including the optional ones, available with the Slavia are the same as those for the Kushaq. With these select colour options, the Slavia’s price range is now Rs 10.34 lakh-18.34 lakh. The Czech automaker started charging a separate amount for certain colours with the introduction of the Kylaq, the first rightly priced Skoda.

Kushaq, Slavia mechanically unchanged

Both models continue to be offered with the 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic gearbox and the 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mill, which comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox as standard.

The current calendar year will be a launch-heavy one for Skoda as it plans to introduce more than a few new models in India. The new Skoda Kodiaq is due in April, and the Octavia RS and Octavia diesel are also expected by September. Further, to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary in the country, Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Anniversary Editions are planned.
