The Revolt RV BlazeX was recently launched and the Oben Rorr EZ recently received a price hike, stacking them closer than ever in terms of pricing and battery capacity. However, the Oben Rorr EZ is available in multiple battery options but to maintain a level playing field, we have only compared the similarly sized battery packs. Here’s how they fair against each other.

Here, both the Revolt RV BlazeX and Oben Rorr EZ have similar batteries– over 3.2kWh. However, The difference is evident in terms of power where the Oben is noticeably more powerful than the Revolt, hence, the Oben also has 10kph higher claimed top-speed. This definitely poses a trade off in terms of range, where the Revolt shines with an extended range of 10km.
The Revolt also features a removable battery pack, in comparison the Oben has a fixed battery pack. In terms of charging, the Revolt reaches 80% SOC, 10 mins earlier than the Oben, although the Oben boasts of a slightly larger battery pack.

Both motorcycles individually don’t weigh a lot but the Oben Rorr EZ is noticeably heavier than the Revolt, 30kg difference to be precise. This will be a deal-breaker for many who plan to use this EV 2-wheeler for commuting. The Revolt features a removable battery pack that in itself weighs in excess of 20kg. However, the Oben still outweighs the Revolt in terms of weight with its larger and heavier battery. To compensate for the added weight, Oben has even given the Rorr EZ a larger 276mm front disc, whereas the Revolt features the exact same 240mm disc at the front and rear.

With the recent price hike of the Oben Rorr EZ range, it costs Rs 1.10 lakh. Nonetheless, The Revolt RV BlazeX is still expensive by a sum of Rs 5,000. However, it is pertinent to note that in the Revolt’s case– at a meagre sum of Rs 4,000 over the BlazeX you can upgrade to the sporty-looking RV400 flagship albeit with unchanged battery size and range. It is worth noting, at an additional Rs 10,000, the Oben also offers a range topping 4.4kWh battery variant that will provide you extended IDC range of 175km.
