Under the hood, the Hyundai Verna gets a 160hp, 253Nm-1.5-litre turbo petrol engine mated to a seven-speed DCT. The VW Virtus also has a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, but is down on output by 10hp and 3Nm.
