The Syros’ 5,425 units in February makes it the third best-selling Kia model after the Sonet compact SUV (7,598 units) and Seltos midsize SUV (6,446 units), but ahead of the Carens MPV (5,318 units). In fact, at 10,971 units, the Syros is also Kia’s third best-selling model so far in 2025, in terms of wholesales. While the Sonet tops with 14,792 units (29 percent share of Kia sales) followed by the Seltos (12,916 units, 26 percent share), the Syros has contributed 22 percent to overall wholesales in the past two months. It is 131 units ahead of the Carens MPV (10,840 units, 22 percent share). This also means that with 10,971 units, Syros' wholesales are 74 percent of the Sonet's 14,792 units in January and February 2025.
Kia India’s wholesales in February were 25,026 units, up 24 percent YoY (February 2024: 20,200 units). This takes its cumulative 11-month total to 2,29,682 units, up 2.42 percent YoY (April 2023-February 2024: 2,24,234 units).

Seen in comparison to despatches of its rivals, the Syros sits at the lower end of the compact SUV segment. Not only does its sibling, the Sonet outsell the Syros, but so does both of Maruti’s compact SUVs – the Fronx and Brezza – along with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV 3XO. Nonetheless, wholesales of the Syros are more than the Skoda Kylaq, Nissan Magnite, Toyota Taisor, and Renault Kiger.
