Royal Enfield Scram 440 Trail and Force variants: differences explained

Royal Enfield has recently launched the Scram 440 in India for Rs 2.08 lakh - Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroomm, Chennai). It now features a slightly larger engine with increased power and torque compared to its predecessor. It also comes with updated features and is currently available in two variants: Trail and Force. Here are the differences between the two variants. 

Royal Enfield Scram 440 Trail & Force variant: colours

Royal Enfield has given the motorcycle 5 new colours in total. While the Trail variant gets two of those colours called; Trail Blue and Trail Green. Meanwhile the Force variant gets three colours called; Force Blue, Force Grey and Force Teal. Apart from the colours, there is no difference between both variants in term of design.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 Trail & Force variant: equipment

Royal Enfield has updated the Scram 440 with a new LED headlight. Apart from this the motorcycle remains unchanged. The only key difference both variants is the change in wheels. The Trail variant is available with a set of spoke wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear) while the Force variants gets tubeless alloy wheels (17-inch front and rear). Both variants are similarly equipped otherwise. 

Royal Enfield Scram 440 Trail & Force variant: price

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 Trail is positioned as the lower variant and is priced at Rs 2,08,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai). However the Scram 440 Force variant costs an additional Rs 7,000 and is available for Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). Apart from the alloy wheels and three colours, there is no difference between both variants.
