VinFast is showcasing nearly everything it has on sale in international markets at the ongoing Auto Expo 2025. From displaying its collection of all-electric cars and two-wheelers, and even a concept, to announcing the launch of the VF 7 and VF 6 SUVs during this year, the Vietnamese EV maker has made its presence felt the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Here’s a quick peek at all the other VinFast four-wheeler models at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The smallest EV in VinFast’s range, the VF 3 is slightly larger than MG Motor India’s Comet EV. The two-door, four-seater measures 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width, stands 1,622mm tall and has a 2,075mm long wheelbase. It comes with 16-inch alloys wheels and its 191mm ground clearance and slab-sided design give it SUV-esque design cues.
On the inside, the VF 3 sports a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a layered dashboard, a two-spoke steering wheel (without steering-mounted controls), an automatic climate control system, and vertical, body-coloured side AC vents. The rear seats fold flat to liberate 550 litres of boot space.
Powering the VF 3 is an 18.64kWh lithium-ion battery offering an NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) range of up to 210km on a single charge. Power is sent to a rear-mounted electric motor producing 43.5hp and 110Nm torque, with VinFast claiming that is can sprint from 0-50kph in 5.3 seconds. The brand also says that the battery pack can be charged from 10-70 percent on a fast charger in 36 minutes.
VinFast’s VF e34 is a Hyundai Creta-sized electric SUV that has been spied testing on our roads before. It carries the typical swoopy and crossover-like VinFast design language, and, if it arrives in India, will be another contender in the mid-size e-SUV space, against the likes of the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and Maruti e Vitara.
The VF e34 is powered by a 41.9kWh battery pack that powers a 150hp, 242Nm electric motor, and has an NEDC range of 318.6km. The crossover’s interior features a 10-inch touchscreen and gets a dual-tone beige and black finish.
The VinFast VF 8 is another large SUV-coupe from the Vietnamese EV maker – it’s larger than the likes of the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari but is a strict 5-seater. The e-SUV is powered by an 87.7kWh battery pack that, on the US-based EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) rating, can go a maximum of 412km on a single charge. There are two AWD variants – with e-motors on front and rear axles – and the more premium version gets a combined output of 408hp and 500Nm of torque, which is said to help the VF 8 sprint from 0-96kph in about 5.5 seconds.
The largest e-SUV in VinFast’s line-up abroad, the VF 9 is a three-row SUV capable of seating six or seven and is bigger than the Audi Q7 overall. Both variants – Eco and Plus – have the same 123kWh battery pack that has a claimed WLTP range of up to 531km and a dual-motor AWD setup with a combined output of 408hp and 620Nm of torque. VinFast claims a 0-100kph time of 6.6 seconds for the Eco version (which weighs 2,911kg and comes in 7-seat form only) and a 6.7-second time for the Plus (2,959-2,968kg kerb weight, depending on whether it’s specced in 6-seat or 7-seat configuration).
Along with roof rails and larger 21-inch alloy wheels (the Eco gets 20-inchers), the Plus variant gets features such as auto-dimming outside rearview mirrors, powered, heated and ventilated first- and second-row seats with a massage function, an 8-inch rear infotainment screen, 13 speakers with a sub-woofer and a panoramic sunroof.
Showcased first at the Consumer Electronics Show 2024 in Las Vegas, the VF Wild concept is about as long at the Toyota Hilux, but is quite a bit wider than the Japanese brand’s popular pick-up truck. Meant to provide sustainable practicability, the VF Wild comes with a powered tailgate, a loading bed whose length can expand from 5 feet to 8 feet (when the automatic rear seats are folded), a panoramic sunroof and digital side mirrors which are said to improve aerodynamics.
