BMW has launched the R 1300 GSA at Auto Expo 2025 with introductory prices starting at Rs 22.95 lakh at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Unlike the R 1300 GS which is 12kg lighter than its predecessor, the R 1300 GSA is actually a kilo heavier than its previous generation model.
The R 1300 GSA is the more off-road oriented version of the standard R 1300 GS and features a larger 30 litre fuel tank. It is also significantly heavier than the standard GS and tips the scales at 269kg which is 32kg heavier in comparison. BMW has equipped the R 1300 GSA with the same 1300cc motor found in the R 1300 GS. This motor continues to produce 145hp at 7,750rpm and 149Nm at 6,500rpm.
However, BMW has also equipped this large adventure bike with their Automated Shift Assistant which is essentially an automatic clutch. Additionally, BMW has also equipped the new R 1300 GSA with radar assisted features such as cruise control and blind spot monitoring. BMW has launched the R 1300 GSA at an introductory price of Rs 22.95 lakh, which makes it Rs 1.75 lakh more expensive than the standard R 1300 GS. In comparison to the outgoing R 1250 GSA, the new 1300 is Rs 45,000 more expensive. The R 1300 GSA is available in three variants - Triple Black, GS Trophy and Option 719 Karakorum - with the radar-assisted rider aids being reserved for the top 719 variant.
