VinFast electric scooters debut at Auto Expo 2025, range, launch details

Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast made its Indian debut at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and while the electric cars and SUVs it showed may have stolen the limelight, there were also a range of electric scooters showcased alongside.

  1. VinFast Klara S design patented in India
  2. DragonFly electric cycle shown too
  3. All e-scooters shown are mechanically similar

VinFast showcased five different electric scooters at Auto Expo - Klara S, Theon S, Feliz S, Vento S and Evo200. All of the VinFast scooters shown are powered by a 3.5kWh LFP battery. As for the range figures, the company claims lofty numbers of anywhere between 190-210km on a single charge depending on the model you pick. This is when there’s a 65kg rider aboard and the scooter is ridden at a steady 30kph on flat land. Expect these range numbers to go down in the real world. Top speed too ranges between 70-90kph depending on the scooter model you pick.

The interesting thing is that VinFast has actually patented the design of the Klara S e-scooter in our country. When a manufacturer does that, more often than not, that product ends up going on sale. Although, as of today the company hasn’t announced any plans of putting any of its e-scooters on sale.

Alongside these e-scooters, VinFast also showed the DragonFly electric cycle which features a small 0.6kWh battery in addition to its pedals. It has a small headlight, a front disc brake and mountain-bike type chunky block-pattern tyres.
