Mercedes-Benz India has announced that prices for its entire line-up will go up by 3 percent starting January 1, 2025.
The brand has clarified that the price hike will apply to vehicles not in stock by December 31, 2024, as well as to existing bookings and those made before this date.
Mercedes-Benz India further says that the price hike has been conducted due to higher material costs, inflationary pressures, and logistic expenses, which lead to higher operational costs. This has been creating “substantial pressure” on the Mercedes-Benz business and its overall bottom line. The brand further says that it is “absorbing” most of the cost pressures and passing on a “nominal” portion to the market.
Prices for the GLC SUV, which starts at Rs 75.90 lakh, will increase by around Rs 2 lakh, while prices for the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 V12 sedan, priced from Rs 3.43 crore, will go up by up to Rs 9 lakh.
